Luxurious Over Water Wedding Ceremony on Exclusive Island Hideaway
Day 2 of Ana and Stuart’s Western Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the ultra luxurious and celebrity favorite Sri Panwa Hotel in Thailand.
Ana and Stuart’s wedding features breathtaking ceremony location with unobstructed views of the Andaman Sea. Their luxurious destination wedding took place over multiple days with events fusing Chinese traditions at the iconic Sri Panwa hotel in Phuket. Their friends all flew across the world to spend the week on this beautiful island.
The day started with bridal preparations in the Ocean Pool Villa, where our beautiful bride Ana, along with her 7 bridesmaids, her mother, and mother-in-law were pampered with hair and make up. This was followed by bridal prep photography and videography, where our team of 3 photographers worked with a team of videographers to capture the wedding party getting ready, and curate a beautiful flat lay for detail photographs of the invitation suite, wedding jewelry, wedding dress and wedding accessories. Simultaneously, our groom Stuart was getting ready with his wedding party at their Pool Villa Suite. Stuart’s wedding party of 7 included his female best friend, who wore a navy colored gown and studded collar necklace to match with the groomsmen navy suites and tie.
For wedding florals and color theme, the bride bouquet was designed with pastel pink and white ranunculus and the each bridesmaid had a white ranunculus bouquet. The pastel pink flowers matched the bridesmaids blush colored gowns. The groom and wedding party had boutonnières of matching white ranunculus. The wedding florals at the ceremony and reception featured the same theme of pink and white ranunculus with added white and blush roses with delicate green foliage.
Ana and Stuart had their first look at the Pool Villa, followed by some wedding portraits at the ceremony location before any of the guests arrived. As it was a hot afternoon in the tropics, the guests were provided a pale yellow colored parasol which contrasted beautifully against the deep blue ocean backdrop. Their wedding ceremony took place as the sun was glowing golden atop of Baba’s Nest, a rooftop pool venue which overlooks the islands and turquoise sea. Their heartfelt ceremony was conducted by a family member and included touching and humorous references. After the ceremony, they held formal family and guest portraits on the rooftop and released a hundred balloons into the sunset. The guests retreated down to the wedding reception which was held at Baba Pool Club. An elegant meal, was followed by sincere speeches that had the guests crying with laughter and joy. The first dance was held outside under the stars and followed with entertainment by fire dancers.
