Modern Twist on Exquisitely Classic Mandarin Oriental Ballroom Wedding

I had the privilege of capturing Meighan and Ton's destination wedding at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental hotel Grand Ballroom in Thailand. Their cosmopolitan love story unfolded against the backdrop of Northern California, where understated style and glamour met. Ton, a UC Berkeley MBA graduate and owner of a bespoke tailor company based in California, while Meighan has built a career as a luxury fashion manager at Haute Couture fashion houses Dior and currently at YSL.

Guests from around the world flew to honor Ton's Thai heritage and his father, a revered admiral in the Thai Navy. Meighan and Ton, had originally envisioned a relaxed summer soiree. However, in a beautiful compromise, they also hosted a glittering ballroom reception, respecting their family's traditions and their parents desire for a grand celebration.

As their wedding photographer, it was an incredible privilege to capture the unique essence of this beautiful celebration. The juxtaposition of styles, the fusion of cultures, and the profound love story that unfolded is a testament to the beauty of love's diversity.
